Two Stars in The Great Taste Awards

We're proud to announce that we gained two stars in the prestigious Great Taste Awards 2011 for our Mushroom & Spinach with Hazelnuts & White Truffle Oil Pie.

New Pie Announced - The Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink Official Festival Pie 2011!

 

To celebrate British Pie Week we’re launching a new pie today – Steak Parsnip & Horseradish.

Made in association with the Dartmoor Farmers Association the pie has today been named the official Festival pie of the Exeter Food Festival 2011, following a taste test at a launch event in October. In-keeping with the regional ethos of Tom’s Pies and the festival, the pie has been created using regional produce and is designed to give a true taste of the southwest.

Derek Philips, Festival Chairman said:  “Lots of us love a good pie as shown by the visitors that flock to the pie stands at the festival.  This year we thought it would be fun to name an ‘Official Festival Pie’.  The pie that has been voted for uses quality regional produce and, most importantly, tastes delicious.  It’s one for pie-fans not to miss.”

The pie will be available from this week, and at the festival which takes place in Exeter from 29th April – 1st may.

Tom's Pies will be catering in a few weeks at this great local festival on Whiddon Down- "The idea has always been to provide space for good energy and entertainment without getting too commercial, and we aim to stay true to this philosophy as the event matures and establishes itself over the coming years www.chagstock.info"

2010 Awards

2010 was another positive year for Tom's Pies, the team worked hard to gain our SALSA accreditation and the new unit has been completed and is looking good, photo's to come! We took home a clutch of awards, from Gold at The British Pie Awards to several Taste of the West Golds and Silvers and it's always fantastic to receive independent validation of the quality of our hand made pies.
