Steak, Parsnip & Horseradish

Our newest steak pie & fast becoming a favorite. Created for the Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink 2011, it was judged the best from a range of entries and went on to be the official festival pie. The flavours are beautiful - sweetness from the parsnip subtley balanced with horseradish and melting westcountry beef, a real winner. 

Ingredients

Steak, Parsnip & Horseradish Filling (62.5 %)(Beef [27%], Water, Onion, Parsnip [11%], Veg Oil, Tomato, Wheat Flour, Celery, Tomato Puree, Fresh Horseradish [0.5%], Salt, Balsamic Vinegar, Black Pepper), Pastry (Wheat Flour, Water, Butter, N.H Margarine), Pastry Lid (Wheat Flour, Vegetable Shortening, Water, Salt, Baking Powder), Pasteurised Egg Yolk
